The research in this area is emerging. I would like to invite yo= u to complete a 5-minute survey related to this topic. The purpose of this survey is to query the members of TASLA regarding their= understanding of the need for school library practitioners to develop lead= ership characteristics and behaviors. Research in this area could identify = and develop strategies for building these traits and actions in order to st= rengthen the profession and thereby increase student achievement, particula= rly in schools and districts that serve underrepresented populations.
